Three fatalities occurred and no fewer than nine people got hurt in the newest assault from Ukraine on the Russian border region of Belgorod, as reported by its governor.

The deaths happened subsequent to an assault on the village of Maslova Pristan in the early hours of Wednesday, officials said. First responders were continuing to search for people suspected to be buried under rubble.
